I believe beauty is a choice. I enter my work with a strong understanding of color, and yield this tool with boldness, as I choose to portray beauty through the energetic force of light and vivid colors. Other influential aspects of my work revolve around the concept of love interviewing the human experience, as well as inclusion and a genuine connection.
Not only other artists move me and influence what I do. I carry a loud voice within pop culture and the contemporary art world through art because I collect emotional expressions that connects us, honors cultures outside of my own and even transcends the viewers into another reality- a cosmic one at times- with an inviting force.
The most fascinating truth about choosing beauty in this field, and generally speaking, is the following: You already know in your heart what’s beautiful before hearing your neighbor’s opinion. This is important to remember, especially while judging artwork, when buying art, when decorating and creating works of art.
